Powder Brows in Mississauga

Healing takes 4–6 weeks in total. Here is what the process looks like:

Days 1–2: Brows appear darker and more defined than the final result. Some redness and mild swelling is normal immediately after.

Days 3–7: The brows begin to scab and the colour may appear to lighten or look patchy. This is a normal part of the process — do not pick or scratch the area.

Weeks 2–3: As scabbing resolves, the colour begins to resurface softer and more natural. The powdery effect starts to become visible.

Week 4–6: Skin is fully healed and the final result is visible. Any areas where pigment didn't retain evenly are addressed at the touch-up appointment.

Aftercare instructions are provided at your appointment. The most important rules in the first 10 days: keep the brow area dry, avoid swimming, saunas, and steam, avoid harsh skincare products near the brows, and do not pick at any scabbing. Sun exposure should be minimized during healing as UV rays affect pigment retention.

A touch-up is a standard part of the powder brow process — not optional. Once the skin has fully healed at 4–6 weeks, the touch-up refines the shape, fills any areas where pigment didn't retain, and confirms the final colour. Touch-up appointments are available at 4–10 weeks, 10 weeks to 1 year, and 1–2 years for ongoing maintenance.

Powder brows typically last 1–2 years before a refresh is needed, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure.

Powder brows suit all skin types — including oily skin, which doesn't retain hair-stroke techniques like microblading as well. If you want defined, filled-in brows that don't require daily makeup application, powder brows are worth considering.
